Our Story

We are a community of travel advisors, destination editors, and field researchers.

We have spent careers building the relationships and local knowledge that no travel aggregator can replicate. Our vision of luxury is not exclusive — it is specific.

It is the restaurant that does not take reservations but always has a table for the person who knows to call. The hotel suite that never appears on the website. The guide who has been leading private tours of the same hilltop village for twenty years and knows which fig tree produces the best fruit in September.

We remember the world of travel before the algorithms, the review farms, and the influencer itineraries. We are trying, one trip at a time, to bring it back.

Between us, we have lived in Austin, Aspen, Boulder, Paris, Kennebunk, Florence, and the Côte d'Azur — which is either a sign of wanderlust or poor decision-making, and we prefer the former. We have been to over fifty countries, filled apartments with Italian art, and spent an embarrassing number of evenings debating whether the French 75 or the margarita is the superior drink (still unresolved). We have run communications for ski resorts, built the technology platforms that power how the travel industry works, and lived in Tuscany and the Maremma long enough to know which antique market is worth the drive and which wine road is worth the detour. One of us has a degree in architecture, another in fashion — which is probably why we care so much about how a place looks and feels, not just what it is. Together we cover the ground, hold the opinions, and plan the trips we'd want to take ourselves.

We know the properties worth staying in and the ones that look better in photographs than they are in person. We book direct, negotiate on your behalf, and secure the rooms that don't appear online.

Private guiding & experiences

From private art tours to off-piste ski guiding to truffle hunts in Périgord — we work with a network of specialists who take two or three groups a season and whose knowledge goes three layers deep.
